Our work is featured on Treehugger

Hot or Cool is featured on the Treehugger online. The piece, by Lloyd Alter, explores our work on The False Choice Between Behavior Change and System Change. It highlights the key message that both systems change and individual behaviour change are needed to achieve sustainable living and to mitigate climate change.

Lloyd Alter wrote about his experience living the 1.5 degree lifestyle in a recent book – “a journey toward a life of quality over quantity, and sufficiency over efficiency, as we race to save our only home from catastrophic heating”.

We encourage initiatives similar to this – which allow people to feel and see the positive impacts of sustainable living within planetary boundaries and for equitable societies.
