As a communicator, campaigner, and connector, Diogo is inspired by Hot or Cool’s ambition to change global narratives through innovative research, difficult conversations and justice-centered approaches. Diogo’s first school outside school was the Scouts Movement. During his Bachelors’ degree in economics, Diogo joined Movimento Transformers, which led him to be selected as a Global Changemaker and joining ChangemakerXChange. After a short time as a social worker and 3 years in an innovation consultancy, Diogo changed jobs to prioritize grassroots climate justice activism. Until life changed again, with a move from Lisbon to Berlin and a fresh start with us at Hot or Cool.
When not at work, you might spot him biking around Berlin, listening to a new nerdy podcast series about some injustice somewhere in the world, or watching the latest documentary in an independent cinema.
