Programme Lead, New Economy Goals @ ZOE Institute

Currently, she serves as a Programme Lead for New Economy Goals at ZOE Institute for Future-Fit Economies, where she spearheads two research and policy initiatives: WISE Horizons and MERGE. These projects aim to strengthen the science-policy interface for dialogue, co-creation, and knowledge exchange around indicators for inclusive and sustainable wellbeing. Her previous experience includes positions at the Center for Women’s Global Leadership (Rutgers University), the Center for the Implementation of Public Policies for Equity and Growth (CIPPEC), and the Unión Industrial Argentina. Magalí has also worked as a research consultant for the International Labour Organization (ILO) and UN Women. She holds a PhD in Law from the University of Birmingham, where my research examined indicators as technologies of global governance, with a particular focus on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and their implications for women’s access to economic resources. Her academic background includes a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Buenos Aires and a master’s degree in Labour Economics from the University of Turin/Sciences Po.
