About the Project
In 2022, Hot or Cool established a Commission on Care-centred Transition which since transformed into the Forum for Caring Societies. In 2025, the Forum is being relaunched, with Pro(to)topia providing the secretariat function, with a focus on the nexus between care and sustainability.
The Forum is intended to be a platform for collaboration, peer learning and collective action with a focus on:
- Inspiring, engaging, energizing, enabling collective external action
- Connecting and co-creating across communities and siloes – (k)new economy, feminist economies, gender equality, climate just transition, environment and nature
- Regional diversity and globally relevant content, connecting across governance levels.
The forum is being organised alongside our analytical work on Care-Centred Economies.
