Policymakers at European, national, regional and local levels can play a crucial role in helping everyone to transition to more sustainable lifestyles. This brief is one in a series of four, that respectively focus on: transport, food, housing, and purchases. The other three policy briefs can be found here.
The policy brief Transport Systems present project learnings and policy recommendations for a fair shift towards more sustainable and healthier transport systems in Europe. This work is based on evidence from the Lifestyle Test regarding what actions people are able and willing to take, sharing suggestions for how policymakers can help to overcome some of the common challenges and structural barriers to meeting Europe’s climate neutral goals and help make sustainable, healthy choices easier and more accessible for everyone. The briefs also provide an overview of the current situation as well as case studies from the PSLifestyle country partners.
The policy brief Transport Systems is also available on the PSLifestyle website.
