Policy makers will recount how and why some policy strategies have been successfully (or less successfully) implemented.We will also explore the positive externalities of health and well-being that can be achieved when we address environmental issues.
This event aims at introducing the 1.5-Degree Lifestyles Report in Izmir, Turkey, during the first PSLifestyle Living Lab, taking place at the Historical Gas Factory on Wednesday, May 11, 2022.
Evidence shows that all economies will have to adjust lifestyles and consumption levels to live below a 1.5-degree global rise in temperature, while attending to inequality and supporting wellbeing. In essence we need to re-think how we eat, move, live and choose to spend our time and resources. Moreover, we need to re-design the systems (infrastructure, policy, markets, technology, etc.) that support our current ways of living.
